Tsunami Carbon Shield II Deep Drop Bent Butt Rod is built for deep drop and trolling applications. This rod is built to handle heavy braid and electric/conventional fishing reels. The carbon shield II bent butt rod delivers the strength and control needed for fishing offshore. This rod is manufactured with a two-piece 5-foot design; it includes a curved aluminum butt for secure belt or holder use and equipped with an ALPS swivel roller tip. Also paired with titanium guides to reduce line wear under heavy load. This rod is rated for 80 to 200lb braided line and is well suited for offshore specials with high-drag scenarios.
