The Okuma Convector Reels features speed LOC pinion gear system that allows positive engaging at extreme high speed. Okuma’s patented mechanical stabilizing system let the reels stay in precise alignment, strong, stable and smooth. This fishing reel is lightweight and has a corrosion frame/sideplates plu stainless steel reinforcing sideplate rings. The spool is machined aluminum with a gun smoke anodized spool plus had a wide mouth levelwind that has enough clearance for copper line or lead core. Okuma manufactures these conventional reels with a multi-disc carbonite drag system controlled by a ratcheting star drag for precise settings.  Offered in two sizes, the Okuma convector star drag reels will land even the toughest of fish!
